1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the Akta platform (akta.rs), you accept these terms of use. If you disagree with them, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of the service
Akta is an AI-based software platform for legal research and document drafting. It searches publicly available case law and legislation of the Republic of Serbia and generates structured analyses with source citations.
To produce answers, the platform uses third-party language models accessed through an intermediary based outside the European Union. Your query and excerpts needed for the answer leave the EU during this step. Details are described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Confidentiality of the data you submit
You are responsible for assessing whether you may entrust the data you submit to the processors listed in the Privacy Policy. If you are an attorney, that assessment includes your obligations under rules governing legal practice and professional confidentiality, and any required client consent.
We recommend removing personal data and identifiers that are not needed for the legal analysis.
4. Akta does not provide legal advice
Content generated by the platform is an informational research aid. It is not legal advice and does not replace an attorney’s professional assessment. You remain responsible for verifying citation accuracy and whether the law applies to the particular case.
5. Accounts and subscriptions
An account is opened on request and belongs to an individual user. Each user receives their own subscription with monthly credits. Credits are spent per query and renewed at the start of the billing period.
Sharing accounts, automated downloading of content and reselling access without written permission are prohibited.
6. Payment
Plan prices are stated per user, per month. Enterprise terms are defined by contract.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, its software and databases belong to Akta. Documents you create using your own data belong to you.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. Akta is not liable for damage resulting from decisions based solely on generated content without professional verification, or for temporary service unavailability due to maintenance or force majeure.
9. Changes and contact
